It is the policy of New World Construction Company Limited to make health and safety issues as the top priority throughout our business and to recognize that health and safety management is an integral part of our daily operations.
New World Construction commits to implementing and maintaining an in-house health and safety management system in full compliance of related legislations and codes of practice. As far as reasonably practicable, we will provide adequate and appropriate resources to implement this policy.
New World Construction and all our package contractors must work together to enhance the health and safety awareness of all employees and ensure that they fully understand and comply with this policy. All our package contractors and their employees at all levels will have received appropriate health and safety training before work and are competent to carry out their health and safety duties and responsibilities in order to take care of their own health and safety at work as well as the others.
All frontline supervisory staff are empowered to control all health and safety hazards in their assigned work areas. New World Construction seeks for continual improvement by keeping abreast with the efficiency and effectiveness of the health and safety management system and reviews the same periodically at the corporate health and safety committee meeting based on the feedbacks from all levels of employees.
New World Construction will contribute its greatest effort to prevent accident and ill health.
