Mr. Choy Hon-Ping
Chairman and Managing Director

With over 45 years of experience in property and infrastructure construction sector, Mr. Choy has served as Director for numerous listed property developers and construction companies. The projects he has overseen and participated in span Asia, from Hong Kong, Macau, all the way to the Middle East.

Mr. Choy is a member of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) and The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). He also serves as “Construction Specialist” at the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ).

Mr. Kwok Chun Wai, David
Non-Executive Vice Chairman

Mr. Kwok is a seasoned professional with over 36 years of experience in construction management. Prior to joining New World Construction, he was the Operating Director in a renowned international construction firm, and had a role in a number of large-scale residential projects, hotels, industrial and commercial redevelopment in Hong Kong and Macau.

Mr. Kwok is a member of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) and The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).

Mr. To Kai Cheung, K.C.
Deputy Managing Director

Mr. To is a veteran with over 32 years of experience in construction project management. Prior to joining New World Construction, he had served various local leading developers with extensive experience in multi-storey residential and commercial buildings, industrial buildings, hotels and government complex in Mainland and Hong Kong.

Mr. To holds a Master of Science in Urban Planning, and a Bachelor of Science in Building.

Mr. Chung Tat Yeung, T.Y.
Deputy Managing Director

Mr. Chung is an expert in construction project management with over 30 years of experience. Mr. Chung had worked with a renowned international construction firm, leading a wide spectrum of projects including residential projects, hotels, industrial and commercial buildings, government complex, and Railway Terminal.

Mr. Chung is a member of The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). He holds a Master of Science in Construction Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Building Technology and Management.

Mr. Lai Wai Ming, Edmond
Director (Operations)

Mr. Lai has over 24 years of experience in project and construction management. Prior to joining New World Construction, he had served at an international construction firm, an international property developer and a public transport company, and managed a number of different building and civil projects in Hong Kong.

Mr. Lai is a member of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and a Registered Professional Engineer (RPE). He holds a Master of Science in Real Estate, and a Bachelor of Science in Building Technology and Management.

Mr. Shek Ho Choi, Richard
Director (Business Development)

Mr. Shek has over 25 years of extensive experience in project management in Hong Kong and Macau, participating in a diverse range of project including commercial, residential, hospitality, mixed-use development, and public housing. He also oversees the subsidiaries of the company: Hip Seng Facade Engineering Company Limited, Hip Seng Finishing Engineering Company Limited and ConTech Point Company Limited.

Mr. Shek is a Chartered Construction Manager, a member of The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), Association for Project Management (APM), and Hong Kong Institute of Construction Manager (HKICM), and a Council Board Member of Hong Kong Facade Association (HKFA). He holds a Bachelor of Building from The University of New South Wales, Australia.

Mr. Poon Cheng Fai, Geoffrey
Director (Family Caring & Culture)

Mr. Poon has a diverse professional background. Prior to joining us, he founded and operated two businesses in parallel for over 15 years: an architectural design studio and a retail brand. Now, he oversees our Company’s Caring Culture.

Mr. Poon is a Registered Architect (ARB) in United Kingdom. He holds a MArch from the Architectural Association School of Architecture, and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University College London.
